The horned rhino — Photo print
Rhinos are getting poached for the largely composed Protein Keratin in their horns, also the main component within hair, fingernails and animal hooves and in order to get as much of the chemical as possible poachers cut the horn along with most of the Rhino’s nose causing for a very painful death. Rhinos are often kept with very short horns in the modern day to avoid these poaches.
